Exept for some regulations across the world, some differing from country to another, it is difficult to really say which companies care about the enviroment when producing.

The EU sustainable development strategy is trying to deal with this issues:

• Sustainable consumption and production
• Conservation and management of natural resources
• Public health
• Social inclusion, demography and migration
• Global poverty

I personaly believe that the firms talking about their sustainable operations are only marketing strategies,less effort being put into actually taking care of the enviromnent and of the people.

 

It is true that some of these firms have departments where people are hired to deal with this problems, but the reality is that these enterprises are not so many.
